Job Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. As a Host/Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing them with a warm welcome and ensuring their dining experience starts off on a positive note. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic hospitality environment.

Responsibilities:

- Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanor

- Escort guests to their tables and present menus

- Assist in seating arrangements to ensure efficient use of dining space

- Provide accurate wait times and manage reservations on Open Table

- Communicate with servers, kitchen staff, and management to ensure smooth operations

- Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station

- Assist with other tasks as needed to support the overall guest experience

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred (host/hostess, customer service, hospitality)

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members

- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and positive attitude

- Ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and professionally

- Familiarity with Open Table or similar restaurant management system is a plus
